2) Define your objective – What are you trying to achieve? Do you want to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to your website, or generate leads? It’s important that you have an identified goal before investing resources into Snapchat marketing.
3) Create a strategy – Start by asking yourself what makes Snapchat unique. One great thing about this app is that it allows users to consume content in an instant.
Types of content that have created massive success in the platform:
Behind-the-scenes
Real-time news and updates
Contests (especially flash contests)
Short instructional content (mini-tutorials)
Product previews
However, it’s important to remember that content needs to be able to stand out and catch the viewer’s attention in order for it to work well with this app.
Tips on launching your ads:
Make ad creatives specifically for Snapchat. Snapchat requires that all ads have a specific layout, so it’s important to design your ads with this in mind.
Keep your videos between 9-15 seconds. Since Snapchat is a mobile app, it is one of the most used apps while on the go. This means that users are going to be more likely to watch a video within 9-15 seconds as opposed to waiting until they have downtime with their phones or computers.
Reward engagement! Offer incentives for your viewers to swipe up, like coupons, discounts, or e-books. Send them to landers rather than product pages.
Work with influencers. Since many users follow their favorite celebs on this platform, it’s a great idea to work with influencers to help promote your business. it will decrease your CPM in the long run.
Snapchat is a great way to reach people in an authentic and personal manner.
